Mil-Std-1553 IP Cores

FMC board with 1553 Transceivers and Transformers

The FMC1553XVR unit is intended for Mil-Std-1553 applications, where FPGAs and IP cores are used in boards with VITA 57 (FMC) standard connector.

This is the world's first VITA57 FPGA Mezzanine module to offer Mil-Std-1553 functionality.

The FMC1553BRD is available with 2 or 4 dual-redundant channels, using a National Hybrid Inc. (NHi) Transceivers and Pulse transformers.

The FMC specification was developed to enable FMCs to be supported on a wide range of existing form factors, including VME, CompactPCI, CompactPCI Express, AdvancedTCA and AMC. Up to 3 FMCs can be fitted to a 6U VPX carrier.
